Mountain Weddings and Honeymoon Accommodations
The Crested Butte Club Boutique Inn & Spa is located in the National Historic Town of Crested Butte. This quaint Western Victorian Town has a colorful history including tales of Butch Cassidy and has been proclaimed the Wildflower Capital of Colorado. Wildflowers start popping their heads out in June and continue through the end of August.
Weddings and wedding parties have been a part of the history of the building housing this newly renovated Boutique Inn & Spa dating back to the late 1880’s when it was the meeting place of the Knights of the Paythian, an English and Scottish gentlemen’s club. In its heyday in the early 1900’s it was purchased by Croatian miners and became the Croatian Federal Union, Croatian Hall of the Sub Assembly #26, Hall of St. Mary’s. St. Mary’s Hall, as it was best known, hosted wedding celebrations which sometimes lasted as long as an entire week.
The recent renovations resulted in a facility which includes:
- a new lobby with a 13’ H ceiling, antique furniture, and a fireplace;
- nine individually decorated spa suites, each of which includes a fireplace, and Hot Air-jet Hydrotherapy tubs;
- a full service spa offering massage therapy in individual rooms or a couples room, herbal wraps, body polishing, facials, manicures, and pedicures;
- a complete fully equipped state-of-the-art fitness center covering almost 1,000 square feet with weight machines, free weights, and aerobic equipment;
- an indoor heated lap pool and a huge hot tub; with lounges, chairs and tables;
- men’s and women’s locker rooms with new oversized hickory lockers, individual showers, and steam rooms;
- a new deck on the second floor onto which three rooms connect and of a suitable size for small outdoor meetings, weddings, or receptions.
The Wolf Den Tavern is a full service bar in the Hotel that can accommodate private catered parties and receptions for groups of up to 40 and comes complete with a piano. If your guests cannot live without their computers tell them we have also provided free high speed internet access in our brand new conference room/business center (it can also be a party room for 15-20), and (WI-FI) wireless internet access in the entire facility.
Our on site wedding/meeting planners can work with any of several different caterers to find a menu to suit your taste, while the Wolf Den Tavern can provide all of your beverage requirements from water to Dom Perignon.
For larger groups of up to 120 we can provide a tent in our north lot and furnish it with everything from punch cups and punch bowls, tent heaters, a dance floor, china and flatware, lighting, buffet sets, and tables and chairs to just about anything else your affair requires, including music. Larger affairs can be set up at several alternate off-site locations. For instance we can arrange the ceremony in a mountain meadow with the reception at one of our fine restaurants, some with outdoor accomodations, or you can go more casual with an outdoor ranch style BAR-B-Q.
We can set up activities including guides and gear for your party or guests from river rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, mountain biking, skiiing, and horseback riding, or for the less energetic ballooning, wildflower tours, or jeep tours.
